Just Thinking...

Well, not much to post about de last few days so I'll just make a short post & talk about the latest news---- Japan's Disaster. Japan had several Nuclear Plants scattered across different areas & currently, 4 of dem had suffered from de Nuclear Meltdown. Radiation had spread over a fairly large area. People within 30km radius or so needs to evacuate out off de area or country. I've heard from my cher that about 70,000 people were affected by the radiation & shall be isolated. No one is allowed to either enter or leave the area. Those people are left to die. Imagine 70,000 people in Singapore were just gone. & if every1 of dem owned a vehicle, imagine how far less congested the roads will be. Rather unimaginable isnt it... Then comes to this other topic. A number of Japanese people had volunteered to stay behind to help prevent the few remaining Plants from melting down. I ask you, is that dumb or courageous?? In addition to that, my lao pei said dat some Singaporeans had left for Japan to help as well. But when the news on how dangerous the radiation was was released, a plane was sent there to collect the people. The plane was able to carry 3xx people but only 1/3 of it was filled. My cher said that the radiation was so strong that even in those special suits, exposure to it will cause death in less den 2wks. Izit a smart choice??? Leaving your loved ones behind, or courageous to have helped out your country in times of need. I believe that different people have different points of view & I will suject to comment or state my own opinion. Now their trying to pour concrete all over the Nuclear Plants in hope that it will cool them down. My cher, being a christian, believed that the cause of that is due to their forefathers in WWII. She said that all their wicked doings have finally came back to them. Even though the new generation may not have done wrong, their forefathers' doings left them this 'curse'. I have my own 'yes'es & 'no's . Even if you are a free thinker, you would have at least a little belief in 'retribution'. If this problem would not been solved, the very species of 'Japanese' may come to the stage of extinction. Singapore will also very well be affected. The radiation may just get to us with many different ways. My cher spoke about it whcih made me realised the extent of damaged. If the radiation got into the sea, all the seafood will be contaminated. Even though Singapore is strict with its food, I doubt that contaminated fish will not get into the market. Though the winds, it can easily be blown to our location. & when its evaporated into the sky, it will rain down on the soil, which plants take in, in which animals eats, where at the very top of de food chain, humans eat. Not as simple as you thought eh?? Dats what i thought as well. Now with the moon being the closest to the earth, I believe that there will be more disasters coming along. One moment I was reading Japanese Manga & the next, Japan was destroyed. We should all help them in whatever ways we can, after all, we're still of de same species & living on the same earth. Let bygones be bygones & its about time we bury the hatchet. WWII is over & if we still stand there watching, so will Japan itself. Even if you dun like them for whatever reasons you may have, think about how it will affect yourself. Maybe not now, but in the future...
