1st Day of Hols!!!! Project Imba!!!!!!

WOWWW SEH!!!!! 2day was dam epic... early morning wake up go downtown mac 2 gather... Had breakfast then proceeded to sch... Apparently, it was reach sch @ 8am & be at NYP @ 8.30... Not reach sch @ 8.30am. Though we were still on time, Yuan Zhen came @ 8.30 which made us take de last bus... == Wasted quite abit of time, which was nothing in the long run... When we reach NYP, out mentor brought us to our workplace at Blk Q on the 7th floor. NYP's GIGANTIMOUS!!!! From 1 end of the block to the other is like from 3e2-MPR, or maybe even further. @ the start, theres this assistant who helped to explain & prepare the apparatus. Quite short, around HF's height. Thats why HF was getting horny... xD Cute & have no bangs. Idk why he will like a person w/o bangs but anw, I'll tell her someday... Jazebel that is.. xD HF!!!! UR IN DEEP SHYT!!! xD We have to sterilise the table with a compound ( 70% ethanol). Dam fun seh that liquid... cold cold de & very volatile... HF spam de table till like was completely wet == Then @ the back of the room, theres this HUGE! roll of paper... We call it 'pang sai zhua' a.k.a shyt paper xD Our opic was on toothpaste & so, have to use cotton buds & stuff dem into our mouths to obtain some bacteria. Then, stir thr cotton bud in the 'BROTH' & left in the incubator. 'Broth' is the liquid food for the bacteria to grow/ reproduce. Incubator to meet our body tempt of 37'C, for it to grow in a suitable environment. We will hav to drip the solution tmr into 'SALINE' that we had prepared. 'Saline' is just made of distilled water with 0.9% sodium chlride/ salt. We dispensed 9ml of saline into the test tube with a special dispenser that can measure  a certain amount of liquid. 1ml of the bacteria will be added tmr. Why not use plain water you may ask... So the explanation is that if we place it in just distilled water, it will turn hypertonic & the cells will burst. The 0.9% salt will balance it out. B4 we carry out taht experiment, we have to sterilise our workspace as well as our apparatus. Our hands as well... then HF sibei gl go spray alot of ethanol on my hand... DAM COLD!!!! xD & with that, we ended our 1st part of the day... For a 2+ hour lunch break

NYP has a MacDonald, 口福, & a nameless canteen. All dam cheap!!!!!! McSpicy upsize for only $5.10! Chicken rice for only $2.50! Cheap bo??!?! That 2hour was proven too long for us... We had nothing to do so we explore the sch compound. Theres this sth sth* Arcade. Not a real arcade though. Just a place whr you can buy small items... A mini Challenger inside & Cheers.

When we resumed work, we now have to make 'AGAR'. It is the solid food for the bacteria. Exactly the same item that we used for 'osmosis' in sec 2. But we have to make our own. Agar at 5x'C is in liquid state & we have to pour it into the petri dish & use the Bunsen Burner to burn away any bubbles in the solution. Vk dam bo liao go play with it & destroy cher's sample == Our taget was to make 100 of those with 4 bottles & the end result, a mere 24... With the destroyed Agar, we add some ethanol (flamable) on it... Guess wad, we lighted the Agar xD The ethanol caught fire, a small 1, & produced a nice trasparent blue flame like how chefs pour alcohol on their dishes that gives off a pretty flame. The flame was too weak to be caught on camera & extinguished too quickly... Went thru a lil theory & thats all for the day. We were allowed to stay in the lab after he cher left. So we took some pics & play with the equipments again xD HF, again, found some bullshyt to do... Played around for a lil while till a staff walked past us... Thousgh she never came in, we scared later have some people come in kp us, so we left... Only to find that our decision was rong == We were released 2 hrs+ b4 the bus arrival. So camped at the pick-up point for that amount of time & I slpt... 1/4 of our time was spent on lunch, & the other few hours left waiting for the bus... NEVERTHELESS, ITS DAM FUN!!!!! BLAME IT ON URSELF SEEK!!!!! TOLD YOU TAKE LIAO U MAI TAKE... MUST BE ALL FOR GRADES DEN CAN TAKE MEH?!?!?!

A little sth extra... After thinking thru, I realised that both guys & gurls have to release their reproductive cells... Namely, the egg & SPERM! Gurls thru menstruation & guys thru wet dreams... From this point of view, I find myself rather lucky to be a guy. Cos for a gurl to have menstruation, its rather painful or will cause discomfort... However, for the guys, IT FEELS DAM GD AFTER WET DREAMS, OR DURING THE PROCESS xD. HAHA!

So I shall end here 2day. Btw, all the 'tmr's I used, are all pretty much '2day' by now... Hopefully it'll be equally or much more fun than it is 2day... For other groups who got boring topic for ur project, I can only say> God bless you...
